Lion's Gateway Portal 2023 Energy Reading

Today is the 8-8 portal or Lion's Gateway. This energetic portal has been open since around 27th July and will carry on for another 3 or 4 days, but the energies are strongest today.

This year the Lion’s Gate energy has felt like a pause, a space to review and reflect on all the little bits of healing that we haven’t quite finished or have been putting off. There is a sense of stillness to it, like we have been given this time and space to finish what we need to, to tie up the loose ends as it were, before we start moving forward again. The energy feels that when we do start moving again (which I feel will be sometime after the next full moon at the end of August) things will gain momentum fast, so we need to make sure that what needs to be dealt with now, is dealt with.

I have drawn 5 cards for the energy of the gateway today and added to them an Archangel energy and crystal energy for us to work with:

Energy portals are a time of transformation, healing and growth. This Lion's Gateway we are being reminded that as we are within so our reality reflects around us. We need to take a look from a higher perspective and see what it is that we no longer need and release that so that we can fly free and ultimately change the reality around us. I am being reminded of a quote from a book I have been reading ‘as you are, so you will be’. It means that your thoughts, actions, beliefs and behaviours of now, shape your reality to come. So this is a good time to connect with yourself and your Higher Self, guides and angels, if you consciously work with them, and see what it is that you are not happy with in life, what is no longer in your best interest, what is not leading you towards peace and your highest path, and heal or release with love anything which is not leading you towards your true authenticity. There is a new beginning ahead of us all and how we experience it is up to each of us. Your thoughts and deeds of now will create your experience of the future to come.

Archangel Lavender is helping us through this healing process. Today, as I connect in with Archangel Lavender's energy, here is what she has to say:

You can work with Archangel Lavender’s healing by placing some lavender in your home, wearing something that is lavender coloured, visualising the colour of lavender. Or just ask to receive the healing energy.

Finally, a crystal energy that wants to work with and support you through Lion’s Gate this year is Rhodonite. It is a stone that brings forward self forgiveness, self compassion, understanding from the heart and a sense of revitalisation. Rhodonite soothes the heart centre when things feel chaotic or overwhelming. It encourages you to be honest and truthful with yourself, helping you to see to the heart of the problem and reminding you that you are worthy of love and do not need to prove anything to anyone.
