The solar plexus chakra or Manipura chakra is located in the upper abdomen area about 2-3 inches above the navel, and is associated with the colour frequencies of yellow and gold.

It links with the element of Fire and the stomach and liver in our physical body.

The solar plexus governs our self esteem, confidence, willpower, ambition and energy. It brings us a sense of physical well being, happiness and contentment. It creates optimism, creativity and self respect.
