Energy Reading for the Week Ahead:
The angelic realm are guiding us this week to reconnect with our love for life and understand that however we experience life is a reflection of what is going on within ourselves. We are being asked to reflect on our levels of happiness, joy, and our passions. As children we had boundless energy, interests and a love for life. We saw beauty and joy all around us. As adults with responsibilities and, particularly at this time, the burdens we carry just to be able to survive and get by can sometimes seem overwhelming. We are being reminded that what we experience around us is a reflection of what is going on inside us. When we become so focused on getting tasks done, work, errands, and all the stresses and strains of life, when inwardly we become consumed by the to dos and hardships, guess what…. that is what we see and experience in the world around us. As within, so without. The cosmos mirrors you.
When you notice that the balance of your focus and energy has moved too far into the stresses of life, slow down and breathe. We often breath without thinking, and when we become mentally or physically stressed our breathing changes and becomes shallow and quick. When we take the time to notice our breath, intentionally slow it down we begin to relax all our systems, physical and energetic. We start to hear our inner voice again, we start to reflect on what is important to our spirit, and when we do that we reconnect to our inner child and joy.
So this week we are being asked to take some time out to connect with that fun loving, joyful kid within us all, who loves to play and feel the freedom of the summer time. Who smiles at the butterflies flying around, who isn’t weighed down by the worries of what other people think, or the stresses of the ‘what ifs’. Take a day this week, connect with your inner child and just ask the simple question ‘what do you love in life, what makes you happy?’ Then do it. Its time this week to find your love for life again.
The crystal energy of Serpentine is offering to support us this week. It will both shield you from negativity and attract more positive energy towards you. It is a stone of rebirth and regeneration, shedding away the old stresses and strains, the old patterns of thinking, and making way for a new habit of healing and creating within yourself, what it is you want to experience in the world around you. If you do not have a piece of Serpentine you can simply hold the intention of connecting and working with its energy this week, and this crystal ally will support you.
