Working With Crystal Grids - Intention Setting

Grids are a powerful and enjoyable way of manifesting dreams, intentions, goals, and

are remarkable healing tools. They work with a set intention, using the energy of the crystals and the geometry of the grid to harness and focus energy to help you achieve your goal.

There are several elements to creating a crystals grid. These can include:

• the intention for your grid

• the geometry of the grid

• the types and number of crystals to include

• the layout of the crystals

• the location of your grid

• creating and activating your grid

• how long to work with the grid

Over the next few weeks I will show you how you can create, set up and work with your own crystal grids. Today we will take a look at setting your intention for a grid.

Intention setting is key to any form of energy work. Your intention needs to be crystal clear in your mind and you should add as much detail to your intention as possible. If you were to go to a restaurant and ask the waiter simply for some food, you would get food but it could be anything. You might like it, you might not. It might be too much food or it might be too little food, but the waiter only knew you wanted food. Whereas if you were to ask the waiter for a 12 inch, thin crust, cheese and tomato pizza with extra onion and olives, your chances of getting the exact meal you want are greatly increased.

It is similar with setting your intention - the more specific you can be, and the more detail you can add, the better your chances of manifesting what it is you desire.

For example an intention of 'I wish to manifest financial abundance' is not as clear as 'I wish to manifest enough money to buy a new car'. That intention, while better, is still not as clear and specific as 'I wish to manifest enough money to buy a brand new [insert your favourite car make and model]'. And if you are able to get even more specific your intention could be 'I wish to manifest £15,000 to buy a brand new [insert your favourite car make and model]'.

Your intention for your grid should be as specific as possible. The more detail you can give to your intention, the better the universal energies will understand what it is you are asking for.

It is also important to be mindful of the language you use in your intention. 'I want' has a different energy to it than 'I wish' or 'I desire'. The word want denotes a lack, whereas the word wish has a vibration of hope and desire. Like attracts like, so if you are using language that has a vibration of lack, that is essentially what you are telling the universe to bring to you, more of that lack, whereas language with a vibration of hope will have stronger manifesting energy to it. The strongest manifesting language, through, is to visualise and talk as if it had already happened. 'today I was able to go and buy a brand new car, and I am so grateful for it!'.

When you have your intention set for your grid you can write your intention down if you wish and place it underneath your grid, under the grid's master stone, or just sat near to your grid. Spend a couple of minutes each day with your crystal grid, either looking at it or just sitting quietly with it, and state that intention either aloud or in your head. This helps to reinforce your intention into the energy of the grid.
